Wavves to me sounds like [expletive] TV on the Radio. That band sucks [expletive]. It’s one of the worst bands to get popular in a long time. They [expletive] trump No Age because I think it’s worse than No Age. No Age is just like, [expletive]. It’s really [expletive].

Interview: Nancy Baym of Online Fandom →
Another milestone will be the development of a new kind of intermediary who works with bands, managers and labels to help them understand and participate in social media effectively. Nerdiest Manager Ever
I just built two shops, a big one and small one, for Blitzen Trapper’s Facebook page. Facebook just changed the layout of these, so now you can have full tabs devoted to whatever you like. Which isn’t really all that useful until you start playing with the Static FMBL app, which allows you to create your own HTML elements and add them as boxes or full tabs. You can see the small...

I already liked this song, and I like this video. Some pretty next level art concepting going on with this album. Yeah, I just made up “art concepting!” Personal best.

Alela Diane DUMBO session: My Brambles | Pitchfork.tv
Here’s a little sunshine for you. Alela, her dad, and her boyfriend, filmed at a funky old church (that’s called The Funky Church) in Portland, Oregon. Just three people who love each other making lovely music about love. It’s a good thing.
