I’m really loving this album right now. Very reminiscent of classic, melodic Mu-Ziq albums like In Pine Effect and Lunatic Harness, and released on Mike Paradinas’ (aka Mu-Ziq)’s label to boot. Makes me feel a bit like an old man listening to a tribute act and getting all nostalgic about my formative musical experiences (Lunatic Harness definitely being one of them), but whatever, it’s just really nice stuff. Soothing and happy and lovely.
