Paul Newman and Dick Cavett are (were) my kind of guys. I spent a weird amount of time watching reruns of Cavett’s talk show on TV Land in high school, and I still find him to be a really wonderful guy. Laid back, sweet, and smart. A good writer too, based on this blog. And what can you say about Paul Newman. Whatever you can say, Cavett says it better than I could — and is in a better position to know — in this post.
